Treasure Island is an action-adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. It is centered around Jim Hawkins an ordinary boy who falls into very unordinary circumstances. Through various events he joins a voyage to Treasure island, where treasure has been supposedly buried by the famous pirate, Captain Flint. The voyage is interrupted by rumors of mutiny and once the ship reaches the island battles break out between the pirates and the "good guys" of the crew. After suspenseful and tenuous interactions between the two opposing parties the pirates mutiny their leader, Long John Silver and they are defeated. However after being overthrown by his own men Silver sees the wrong of his ways and joins Captain Smollett and the rest of the "good guy" crew. Together the remaining crew load up Flints treasure and return home to England where they all go on their separate ways.
The most beautiful adventures are not those we go to seek.
